Grateful For

Two more LO's for my Grateful Album.

Grateful for my MUM, for the strength I inherited from her, it is sad to realise that this strong, amazing woman will have been missing from my life for a year at the end of this week. While her family live on she will never truely be gone, she is always in our thoughts and in our hearts. So dearly missed.

The second LO is of my gorgeous daughter Kate, what an amazing young woman she is turning into. She shines and brightens my life daily, I am so very grateful that she is mine.

Penny Black Card

I have been wanting to make cards to raise money for Breast Cancer Research, however I dont always have the energy, well tonight I decided to make a start and this is the first card I've made, quite pleased with it so I will probably do some more like it in different colours. So I know it is only one card so far, but as they say " A journey of 1000 miles begins with one step" So hopefully this will be the first of many.

New Beginnings

I have had not done a lot of crafting lately, but I have recently made myself an organiser for 2009 and have already got a lot of projects in it that I am hoping to complete this year. So hopefully I will be adding new stuff to my blog on a - I will say weekly basis as I think daily may be to much of a stretch. Here are some LOs I did for a "Grateful for" album I am working on, some of th eLO's were based on classes from the latest Cyber Crop on UKS.

Making the Effort

I am glad to be able to post something on here, life has been a bit crap and up in the air here, I have so many things I want to do and thanks to the chemotherapy I am not able to.
So I decided last night as the effects of the latest round of treatment had not taken full effect, to use some scrapping time to distract me and I am pleased to say I managed to do this little book for my niece, this is here dog (baby) Portia and I am sure you will agree she is adorable.

Its been a while since I have posted anything here, but not really been doing much due to ill health...just thought I would let you see the advent calendar I made...I have actually made two, one for me and one for my friend.

Church Craft Fair

My Church is trying to break away from the old style Church Fete, so decided to try a Craft Fair. Here are some of the things I made to donate to it, I am pleased to say everything I made sold and helped them raise an amazing £1300.....Fabulous
